The International Karate Camp of BKKF was held in Kamchia for a 4th consecutive year. There were more than 500 participants from Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Sweden, Japan, Korea and China.



The karate classes were led by Kancho Hatsuo Royama (IX dan), the president of the Kyokushin-Kan Federation. He was assisted by Sensei Sun Li from China (an expert in human body energy) and by Shihan Hiroto Okadzaki.
The stress on this year’s karate camp was again put on improving the karate technique (kihon), katas, kumite and working in pairs. The participants practiced some special techniques for body hardening using wooden bars.


The National Representative of Bulgaria – Nedyalko Delchinov III dan and the Bulgarian Branch Chief - Nikolay Rachev

were also present at the seminar. They showed their satisfaction of the close relations between Bulgaria and Japan and of the excellent skills of Sensei Ishidjima who is a Bo, Kendo and Karate Kyokushin champion of Japan.
Kancho Royama personally expressed his approval of the high standards of the Bulgarian karatekas and of the close cooperation between Bulgaria and Japan. He said that he had never suspected there was a place in the world where the children could practice karate for free thus training their bodies and spirit. The National Representative of Bulgaria Nedyalko Delchinov thanked Insurance Company Armeez for their support of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation and the Kyokushin in Bulgaria.
